On 17th October Bandidos MC Florence chapter had its 5th anniversary party. People arrived from all over Europe and from many different parts of Italy. One of the biggest groups was from Sicily, about 20 people. After our arrival on Friday we spent all day with our Brothers from Massa Carrara, enjoying their usual hospitality. After a partying night and a good breakfast we were ready to go to the party place, where all the Brothers were waiting for us in an excellent atmosphere. The party was set up in Volterra, a splendid Etruscan city in the Pisa area. Walking around the town we could see ancient roman buildings and small shops selling swords and armours, like we were back in the medieval age. The citizens looked very curious looking at these big tattooed people, and also very kind of talking with us. Always funny walking all together in these small towns…
The party took place in an amazing old pub, placed in an ancient building where the Bikers can find what ever they need. Different bars with great wine and good booze, a restaurant hall where we could taste the specialities of the area: pasta and grilled pork…so nice!
It’s always a great feeling, talking with Brothers from different cultures and history, but all united under the same ideas and way of living. Numerous different Clubs joined the night with us, and everybody could get support stuff in a very rich support shop.
A great blues band took us to the end of the night, where we found a good bed to sleep in.
I consider the anniversary party a big successful event, where bikers from all places, found a very relaxed and positive atmosphere, with the usual great Bandido organization.
