SALVA'S MEMORY RUN

When the date for Salva's Memory Run was decided, there was no doubt that we had to go over there.
So on Friday morning, together with Marco from Dijon chapter and two hang-arounds, we left Marseille clubhouse at 9.00pm and the weather was fine.

The trip to Spain was very pleasant except for a "little bit" of wind...


First stop in Spain.

We took all the time we needed to eat food and fuck around so we arrived at Mataro clubhouse around 4.30pm.
Only a few Brothers were there from Italy and France so we decided to have a couple of beers then go to check the hotel rooms.
The way wasn't very easy because of a stupid GPS but we finally found a very nice hotel for a very cheap price.
After a while we went back to the clubhouse.
The people in the streets were very friendly and surprised to see us riding our bikes.



The night was very ok with many Brothers coming from all over Europe but we didn't want to be tired for the day after so we left for the hotel around 2.00am.
 
In the morning we missed the breakfast at the hotel so we had to go downtown.
It was very hard to walk with that heat but we had the pleasure to find a very nice restaurant with great "local" Spanish food for a very cheap price again.

After eating and talking it was time to go back to the clubhouse where the meeting time was 4.00pm.
More Brothers were there. Especially two Brothers from Finland riding their bikes all the way down there.
When everybody was ok, we left to the cemetery.

Located in a small city next to Mataro, it's a very nice and quiet place up on a small mountain. The brothers from Mataro had prepared flowers to put next to the grave.

On the (long) way back to the party we stopped at a biker bar and had some drinks. Then it was time to go back to the clubhouse.
There was food, drinks and live music but the main event of the night was the Mataro Prospect chapter change of status.
We gave them new patches so at that time they started as Probationary chapter.
Everybody was very happy and the party started with a bunch of applause and pictures.





The night was long and ended with a late stripper. That was the time to go back to the hotel. The morning after, we left for France "tired" but fortunately the weather was ok except with the wind one more time.
Never mind!! That was a real good week-end.

Mataro Brothers did as best as they could and it was not easy for them.
