10 Years Bandidos MC Germany

In 1999 the “Black on Yellow” Ghost Riders, the Road Eagle MC Nomads and the Destroyers MC Munich joined the great Red & Gold Nation as Bandido Probationary Chapters. Today, 10 Years later, there are 46 Bandido Chapters, 3 Prospect Chapters and around 50 Support Clubs based in Germany, enough reasons to celebrate the 10 years anniversary of Bandidos MC Germany.

Originally, it was planned to hold the event in Dortmund, where its organisers, the “Gelsenkirchen Chapter” and the “Dortmund Chapter” had found a very nice location in the downtown of the city. But then, 10 days before the Party, suddenly everything changed. The German police didn’t allow the event at this location anymore. It was classed as too big a risk for the society, so they said.



Most Members of the Bandidos had booked their hotel rooms and many Brothers from overseas and other European countries had paid their plane tickets already. And besides, nobody wanted to have a 10 years anniversary without having a big party.

So, after a few talks between the club members, a solution was finally found. The Event was moved to the clubhouse of the “Unna Chapter”, around 30km from the original location. This clubhouse and its surrounding area was big enough to hold an event like that, but there where only a few days left to organise everything, so everybody really had to move their asses. There were so many things to take care of in only one week but on Friday evening, all the tents were ready, the final sound check was done and there were no more doubts on having the 10 years anniversary party at the Unna Chapter clubhouse.



On Saturday’s early afternoon, the first guests arrived at the party area. Many of them partied the night before already in the surrounding clubhouses like from the “Dortmund Chapter” or from the “Bochum Chapter”. The official start of the event was at seven O'clock in the evening but the music was playing already a lot earlier and the party place became more and more crowded. On the other side of the road, around one hundred police officers took their positions to make sure that nobody was able to get through the clubhouse gate without being checked first. The road was completely blocked and nobody was allowed to drive through. Many of the local people were angry about this situation, not about the event, more about the senseless power demonstration of the German government, so they said, and the police could really feel that the “Unna Chapter” had a lot of sympathy in its surrounding area. “These guys are doing very well in this town, you better take care for the real criminals” a local person said to them. After the party the police couldn’t prove one single crime against anyone that had attended the event.



The Party area was already full of people before it was getting dark and it seemed like everybody was enjoying the event. At ten O’ clock in the evening, all the Bandidos where coming together in one of the big tents, to take part in the congratulations of the original German Members. Beside the 10 years patches, there were also a couple of 5 years membership patches given out and the prospect chapters Euskirchen, Germany and Neumunster, Germany reached their Probationary status and afterwards there was an auction for the Brothers in Jail.

During the whole party there was a good spirit and besides the Bandidos MC members and their supporters that attended, many members from other motorcycle clubs and civilian people also attended and they all had a great time together.
